What is the EAIFO?

The EAIFO has been a leader and innovator in college football officiating services since our inception in 1945. Over the years, our credibility and reputation has been impeccable. Our quality of football officials and service to college football is second to none throughout the world. The EAIFO provides the best opportunity to be recruited, trained and advanced through the college ranks. The EAIFO never stops trying to be the best in its commitment to college football and that’s why we are the largest and best college football officiating organization in the world. The EAIFO has seven (7) chapters throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. The EAIFO has over six hundred  (600) members who service independent colleges and established conferences at the Division I (FCS), II, and III levels.

The EAIFO, through its  seven (7) regional chapters and website, offers an excellent venue for commissioners to communicate with their officials, as well as prospective officials, through game film, bulletins, etc., to ensure consistent rules interpretations, field mechanics and a quick response and feedback mechanism.
